Amaan Africa was Founded in 2020 by Ashu Ayem Maureen Akorsong who is a Certified Volunteer from the National Civic Service Agency for Participation in Development under the Ministry of Youth and Civic Education Cameroon.

She is a passionate Volunteer and is committed to contributing in the success of businesses and community development, through the empowerment of Youths and Women in small groups and vulnerable communities on the right expertise and Digital skills needed for growth. 

She  believes in the POWER of Volunteering as a tool to impact, transform  and promote culture diversity in Cameroon and African communities.

Amaan Africa Organization operates in a 5-dimension strategy for SDG1-17 which include CERTUS, VOVO, CULVILLA, ALA and #STOPCOVID19. 

We are spreading our good vibe from Cameroon to  Africa and the world.

Since 2020 we have trained +4000 Youths and Women on Digital skills and Craft for Self Sufficiency and we can do more with your support.

OUR VISION STATEMENT

To create awareness about the SDG’s and impact digital skills to Youths and Women to increase employability, promoting online and offline advocacy in a more professional way, kick start entrepreneurship, Advocacy, Freelance and Activism to alleviate poverty and achieve Gender Equality in Cameroon and other African communities. We are committed to empower 10,000 Youths and Women by 2030

Engage youths across 54 African countries in cultural exchange programs and community development projects. Give a voice to volunteers by providing funding and mentorship for their community projects with VOVO(Volunteer Voices). Enforce and promote adoption of multilingualism as a tool for peace and social unity and progress with ALA. Equip Cultural Village Labs (CULVILLA) across communities to promote cultural diversity, arts and craft in schools.

Meet Our Founder, Ashu Ayem Maureen Akorsong

Maureen Akorsong is  a very passionate volunteer and a lover of culture, a polyglot as she can speak English, French, and Deutsch. She is a Bachelor degree holder in CST Economics from the University of Buea Cameroon with over 10 years of working experience.

She is a Certified Volunteer from the National Civic Service Agency for Participation in Development (NCSAPD) under the Ministry of Youth and Civic Education Cameroon. Her Community  is her legacy and she works hard to lead by example thus giving hope to the younger generation.

She is fascinated about the digital age, AfCFTA and how access to finance can transform entrepreneurship.

She  believes in the POWER of Volunteering as a tool to impact, transform  and promote culture diversity in Cameroon and African communities.

Through Amaan Africa and Amaan Digital training center, she seeks to contribute her quota to the emergence 2035 agenda of Cameroon, eradicate COVID-19 and also provide a peaceful and all-inclusive environment in accordance with the UN Sustainability Development  Goals for 2030 agenda SDG1-SDG17.
