Promoting trade through women empowerment programs and valuable information is one of the key objectives of AWT. Since 2021, AWT has created a network of women who are working together to find seamless ways women can trade under AfCFTA and be profitable, independent and sustain their various communities.
With the just launched PAPSS ( the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System) on the 13th of January 2022, a cross-border, financial market infrastructure enabling payment transactions across Africa. We are looking forward to engaging more women to take the forefront and push their products to various African countries irrespective of the currency and exchange rate.
